There should be a Ban on all Electric Vehicle’s (EV’s) production. My V8 Mustang has a less Environmental impact on the planet than any and all EV’s combined right now. The reason I have a V8 over a 2016 Ecoboost Mustang, with the Automatic Paddle Shifters Transmission. Is due to how Turbos get to be 1,875°, and are mounted by manufacturers with in 1/8 inch from Aluminum Engine Block. Without a Heat Shield 🛡 between them, and warps the engine. I had it for 7.5 years as original owner. Within that time it had 60,000 miles 2 engines replaced, and the dsy after it was replaced the check engine light turned on for the Transmission, which runs on rubber belts and stretch. It’s whaymt happens to all Automatic Transmission Paddle Shifters. The 2nd time I took it in for engine replacement they said no Rental re-embursement for both months it was $110 per day to rent. Which means it would have cost for 60 days $6,600. It would only get 16 mpg and EcoTragic or Eco Scam. My V8 Mustang GT with the Manual Transmission weighs 100 lbs. Less than the 4 cylinder, Due to extra Volume of fluids to keep the Turbo Cooled, extra motor and Coolant., plus Intercooler brackets and the extra exhaust pipe known as the Downpipe. Turbos rely on exhaust pressure to force more air into the intake thus, more fuel and add heat to cause Cylinder 3 to warp. Automatic Transmission has more and extra fluids that go to the Radiator to the Transmission fluids, thus, extra weight.
My V8 Mustang with doesn’t need to add extra fluids 4.6 quarts of motor oil vs. Ecoboost with Automatic Transmission 6.5 quarts of motor oil.
Now to the Reason Electric Vehicle’s (EV’s) are more Toxic to the Environment than gas vehicles. Electric Vehicle’s when they sit in UNPAVED JUNKYARDS the battery 🔋 Packs Corrosive, Acidic, Orange Brownish Gel or Glaze drops on to the ground, and in time penetrates to the Underground 💧 Water Resources. Then there’s the Safety Hazzards from EV’s, they catch fire and without warning all electronics shut off. Including, the Door opener trapping its driver’s and passenger. There are no Mechanical levers, but you know this since the law makers push these Vehicle’s. Now to the Environment aspects, they burn hotter for minimum 5 hours longer than gasoline ⛽️ engines Vehicle’s. Which means more water waisted causing Drought Conditions. Environmental Impact number 2 there were 4 Recycling ♻️ Centers in the United States, and none are in California. There were 2 that burned this year in April 2024 in Phoenix Arizona and most recently the worst Environmental Impact. In Missouri Lithium Recycling Center ♻️, there were Explosions, and a Fireman’s channel on YouTube named StacheD Training. If you search it, view his 2nd video from the list. It shows how fire Authorities doused the Granulated Minerals, which flowed in to all major water sources. Thru, creeks, rivers, and Lakes, as well as the Faucet and water wells. They said not even Boiling water purifies the water, and became useless. Originally, they were worried about fumes, which by themselves are toxic, but water 💧 is useless. Thus, after 10 day’s of Hosing down heat, and not being able to use water to drink or cook, made the Reality. Drought Conditions, by trying to put out fires, and while dousing Granulated minerals killing fish 🐟, and use of local water. The following has not been reported yet though if investigated, those Granulated elements were for sure spread out during Tornado Season and other storms.
I know someone who still has his 1960’s Mustang’s with the original running V8’s, one a BOSS 302, and a Mach1. My V8 Mustang GT doesn’t leak and has 112,000 miles. I worked at SpaceX in Los Angeles California Hawthorne facilities. Out of the 1,500 employees only 8 drive an Electric Vehicle ( EV ) most Drove the V8 Mustang. Reality, is no one has time or money to maintain or insure them. It’s more cost effective to own something that will last forever.

Do not ban all old gas limit cars! However there have been historic exceptions to pollution requirements. i.e. pre 1960’s or 70’s. " Historic Vehicles " for example. The amount of pollution is minimal since the stock of these vehicles is constantly decreasing.

The percentage of classic cars compared to late model cars has to be extremely low. These cars are driven with so few miles in a year that there is little effect on global warming.
Maybe golf should be banned. Look at all the miles people drive to play the game and at tournaments all the TV crews in hauling all there gear to televise the event plus all the people that fly to the event, is using up alot more of the global warming issues.
If classic cars are banned then so should golf, baseball, basketball and football. There is alot of global warming to be saved by banning all those sports.

He will not get either one of my classic cars. I have two classic cars I prefer them over these newer cars. Both of my V8 classic cars get over 20 miles to the gallon so I don’t see what the issue is. I think the issue is Newsome is ignorant and confident and whatever else you want to call them.
