Facebook eBay Resellers Strike Again With Parts That Don't Fit!

When you’re at the top, there are always others—like Facebook eBay resellers—trying to copy your work or spread rumors about your business. As they say, time reveals all.

Recently, we came across some drama involving these eBay resellers on a Facebook G8 group known for its lively discussions. While we don’t frequent those pages much, our customers  do and to like to keep us informed about the juicy episodes, much like avid viewers of ‘Days Of Our Lives’.

Lets get to the juicy stuff...

So what does this spoiler look like?
The sellers try to convince the buyer that the spoiler doesn't sit right because was bowed from sitting in the box, but if it were genuine carbon fiber, it wouldn’t bow at all. Despite this, they advise using RTV (really) and additional double-sided tape. Perhaps a properly designed bolt-on spoiler would have been a better choice. However, this is what you can expect when purchasing a spoiler from an eBay reseller who just copies other companies parts.
the buyer also stated this was the 3rd spoiler sent to him. wait? not one but THREE spoilers?
The seller continues to say they have "Never had an issue with fitment from anyone else.
Interestingly, a few individuals in that same post express the following viewpoint about that same spoiler.  We guess this guy is okay with a gap?
Another person accepting a mediocre product and they say they will just fill it with Rubber Butyl?
We had someone post up on our facebook page this eBay spoiler and check this out.
But remember they "NEVER had an issue with fitment from anyone else" yeah sure!  How about they make a spoiler that actually fits instead of sending buyers this trash?
If anyone doesn't know, these guys also produce subpar GTO and SS parts that don’t fit properly.
A isolated case? We think not.  How about those GTO parts?
We expose more of this HERE.   Can you really trust what these guys say?

Returning to the customers situation, the eBay resellers on Facebook declined to send a fourth spoiler, citing that it was “beyond the claim period.” This decision was based on the fact that the customer did not attempt to test-fit the third spoiler until several months later.
As a business, we recognize that there’s a specific window for returning or reporting product damage or faults.  However, if you’ve received a spoiler twice and it didn’t fit both times, and the third one also doesn’t fit, it’s clear that there’s an issue with the product.

Regardless of how long it took the person to reach out, this issue should be addressed. However, these Facebook and eBay resellers insist that it’s too late to take any action. Keep in mind that this customer has already received two faulty spoilers. Instead of blaming the customer, perhaps they should focus on resolving the problem. It’s akin to a husband who beats their wife and then blames the wife for the violence.

Which brings us to the purpose of this post. After seeing it, we decided to share it. While we generally avoid being overly critical of individuals on Facebook, when these same people attempt to copy our work and consistently spread false information about us and our products, we feel compelled to expose them with factual evidence.

Since these other sellers are unable to assist, we’re stepping in! If the customer who posted this happens to see this message, we’ll offer them a $50 discount on our G8 Carbon Fiber Spoiler. Unlike those flimsy bowing held down by double-stick taped spoiler, ours securely bolts onto the trunk—the right way.  And if you (the buyer) send us that inferior so-called carbon fiber spoiler that didn’t fit, we’ll credit you the $50 to our Carbon Fiber Spoiler. Plus, we’re not afraid to expose the truth even more because we know their spoiler isn’t clear-coated, despite their claims.

Lastly, we want to express our gratitude to those who know the difference between our parts and a reseller selling eBay parts. We had a good laugh reading the posts in that same thread.

Lastly if you think these are some isolated incident it's not!

In conclusion when you buy a part from someone who has no website, and there are no clear Terms and Conditions regarding returns and warranties, like when you buy from an unknown source on Facebook, you’re taking a risk. A bit one!  Live and learn.
