Well maybe TOO HOT! Auto Theft is a big problem in the Alameda County area. It seems the county has had over 8500 cars stolen just this year.
The good news is the Alameda Task Force in cooperation with the CHP just found someone who has been stealing cars with LS motors such as the Pontiac G8 and Pontiac GTO (in this video from ABC News) along with over 300 striped Camaro just this county alone! WE sure hope whoever owned this G8 and GTO had some good insurance.

The bottom line is it is sad to see these cars taken advantage of, but at least they caught the bastard who stripped them! Then again with California Law... as a non violent crime, the guy will be back out on the street in no time!
My best word of advise, keep your cars in your plain sight! R.I.P. GTO and G8 :(
